Surviving Personal Transition
Whenever a change happens, people affected experience a reaction to that change. This reaction, often felt with high emotion, causes a fog that decreases individual productivity. People still get some results working in the fog, but they won't achieve their potential and the whole process can have a high personal price tag in stress, frustration, and lost sleep. Consequently, the emotional fog must be cleared away. This session leads individuals through the identification of transitions in their life and helps them clear the fog and get on with their work with renewed energy and commitment.

Bridging the Generation Gap
People of all ages continually work together in business, in families, and in volunteer organizations. This age diversity can be fun and rewarding; it can also cause barriers between people. The fact that we were born at different times caused us to grow up with vastly different influences. What was going on in our world while we were at an impressionable age had a profound effect on our ethics, values, and style. One key in living and working together effectively is to understand the influences that cause our generational differences. This informational, inspiring, and often humorous presentation explores some of these differences. The session will explore each of the generations existing in the world today.
- Traditionalists were born between the mid 1920's and mid 1940's.
- Baby Boomers were born between the mid 40's and the early 60's.
- Xers were born between the early 60's and the early 80's.
- Yers (also referred to as "Nexters") were born after the early 80's.
The session also teaches ready to apply strategies for working together to improve productivity, relationships, and results!
